For some families, being a few minutes’ drive from the beach is a worthwhile trade-off: more peace and quiet, more space in the apartment and day-to-day life less shaped by the prices of the most touristy areas.

To go further, our guide Authentic Agadir takes you to the Tikiouine souk, Inezgane and on to Taroudant. And if you are still weighing it up against the seafront, our article Why choose Hay Adrar as a family gives an honest look at the pros and cons.

Our two apartments are right here, on the 2nd floor of a guarded residence with underground parking: Cocon 1, 75 m² for 6 guests and Cocon 2, the same size, with its Moroccan lounge and pool view; for large families, both Cocons together, up to 12 people.

What to do around Hay Adrar?

The neighbourhood makes a good base. For families, the first outing is often the closest: Crocoparc, Lion Park and Parkids, about 3 minutes by car. On match nights, the Stade Adrar is around ten minutes from the Cocons, an outing children remember for a long time.

For shopping and a taste of local life, the Tikiouine market is 2 minutes away; the Authentic Agadir guide then takes you to Souk El Had, Inezgane and on to Taroudant. The sea and Agadir Bay are 15 to 20 minutes away; our article Agadir with the family all year round helps you choose your beach and the best time to come.

To get around freely, the Dacia Sandero Stepway can be waiting for you at the airport, 15 minutes from the residence. All our other ideas are in our guide What to do in Agadir.
